Resources for the Agricultural Community
In preparation for the start of the agricultural season, Yolo County has provided the agricultural community with recommended strategies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and resources to ensure that workers have access to vital benefits. The County's press release presents guidelines for protecting workers' health and includes information about obtaining medical care, finding employment support, and meeting food needs. This week, Yolo County Public Information Officer, Jenny Tan, began broadcasting daily briefings on the Yolo County Facebook page. In these 5- to 10-minute videos, which are live at 10:00 a.m. every weekday, Jenny discusses COVID-19 updates and a hot topic or frequently asked question. The videos are archived on Facebook and can be viewed by clicking here, then selecting the video you'd like to watch.
